Well well well.. look who's finally up to date with her blogging? Yup!! I'm finally up to date since I'm up to the last leg of my blogging. =)
On our first night in Tokyo, we decided to just rest up and prepare for tomorrow to explore. Choco was meant to go to dinner iwth Suliana and Kenji and the rest of us were just going to lounge around and have free time. Unfortunately.. Choco went into my room and literally begged me to come with him to dinner wtih Suliana and Kenji.. I don't even know why.. I didn't even know them! After about 10 minutes I felt bad and gave in and decided to go dinner with Choco.. and you know what? Tina said since I was going.. she's coming too. *rolls eyes*
Had a bit of a break to get ready adn decided to dress warmly. So I wore jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, hoodie and jacket. And you know what? I was still cold! Choco tricked me and said that since I looked really sick, I didn't have to go. I said ok and turned around tohead back to my bed and he grabbed me by my hoodie and dragged me out the door =(
We went to Shinjuku to eat, and even though we booked a certain restaurant, we ended up going to eat okanimiyo (Jap pancake) somewhere else lol. And it's soooo cool!! They just put your ingredients in a bowl and you mix it up yourself and cook it yourself too! Everyone's table has a hotplate on it so you just have to mix and cook yourself. It's rather fun. you also get to put as much of the sauce nad mayo as you like. It's good coz I love the Jap mayo on my pancakes. After we had pancakes and sho-chu we went and had yakitori (BBQ'd skewered meats) and omg I ate waaaaaay too much. MY jeans were a struggle to breathe in! And the food they served looked sooooooooo yummy!! By that stage, all my senses had gone number and I couldn't taste, or smell aynthing. I was hitting dilerium with my sickness. My throat was absolutely killing me and my throat just hurt so bad.
When we got home, I had a shower, dried my hair completely and smothered my neck and chest with vapor rub. God I love that shit. After I smothered my neck with vapor rubs, I used one of the face towels from the hotel and wrapped my neck up to retain the heat. I woke up periodically after that. Every two hours I'd wake up because I needed to re-apply. And you know what? The next morning I couldn't move. At all. My muscles had gone completely stiff and I felt like a complete invalid. My first official day in Tokyo was spent in my hotel room, on my bed, drifting in adn out of consciousness, with a killer sore throat and a snot-filled nose. This was not how I pictured my first day in Tokyo.
Fast forward to day two and I could just drag myself out of bed. It took me.. no shit. Just over two hours to get ready. So in two hours, I had showered, put on some mascara and eyeliner, dried my hair, straightened it, picked out clean clothes and was finally ready to leave. That my dear, had to be the longest tiem ever for me to get ready. Ever. By the time I finished getting ready it was already 1230 and I was pooped.
Anyways, we decided to take it easy and just go shopping. and explore. I thought I was going to pass out.
Ok, I'm over writing for now.. writing in bulk isn't as fun so I'll wait til a little later to write some more. I'm getting hungry.. it's 830pm and all I've had today was 6 chicken nuggets and some chips for brekky, adn a banana/choc crepe. Hungry..
