Sounds of ARt

Went to the space museum today, and the Hong Kong museum of Art. If you happened to be in HK, then I'd highly recommend you check out either. And the HK museum of history. I went there the last time i visited and it was just so freaking awesome.

In the space museum, they've got these really awesome simulated rides that are modelled to how it would feel if you were in space. I went on the space walk one nad just pretty much jumped up and down on the thing.. it was really cool - except for the wedgie it was giving me. But it was still worth it to jump up and down and pretend to be an atronaut. I had a blast. You learn alot too. Whilst there, they also had a few shows on that were 34Hk to see. I went and saw the sea animal ones.. i think they called in sea monsters or soemthing. Taht was pretty cool. It documented on the fossils that are found all over the world of this creature called a ... dolphi? It looks like a dolphin, but iwth legs like a seal.
After that show, I wandered around a bit, bought a sandwhich from starbucks and went back to see the second show I paid for. It was about the solar system, the different star constellations and where they're situated in the sky. I now know what the rest of Orion looks like, because usually I can only see his belt. But now I know where to look for his bow and legs. Cool huh? I thought so..

Anyways, after that I just wandered around Nathan Rd for a bit, and decided to walk the distance home.. that way, I get to walk up to Temple st to check out the stalls, go through the ladies market and exchange currency en route to the hotel. However, Tina rang and said she and the boys wanted to meet up for lunch, so ended up just being a quick browse through Temple St stalls (good thing there wasn't anything that caught my interest) and took the underground train walkway down to the ladies market. It was an easier shortcut. But we ended up having KFC for dinner. Lol nad i can still feel it churning inside my tummy. *note to sellf - no more KFC ever!

After KFC I just ended up wodnering around by myself whilst Tina and the boys went off to the Jade markets near Temple st and after an hour or two i decided to go home.. and i picked up my laundry too! yay! it smelt so nice and clean, im gonna bring everything down tomorrow to be laundered.. yay!!

Well. That's pretty much everything that I did today. ANd i thoroughly enjoyed my own company.
