I heart Hong Kong!

OMG! I didn't realise it until I landed after a REALLY long and shit flight, just how much I miss HK. Had a few hiccups on the way.. like Tina leaving her handbag in a taxi, our taxi driver not knowing any english, our hotel serving really shit food at over-inflated prices and Tina falling flat on her arse in my shorts. Now THAT was funny..

Anyways, HK is TIRING. We've been walking around exploring and eating ourselves stoopid. I think I've put on weight coz my gut is hanging over my pants and my face is rounder than usual.. other than that.. it's great! Tonight, after 3 nights in HK so far, we finally made it to the peking duck restaurant that we went to two years ago.. and it was still so delicious. Tina and I managed to convert the other three and now, no place we go to have peking duck will ever be the same. The journey there however, was something also to be remembered. But not in a good way.. we got lost.. several times. And Tina nad Train wore uber high heels and after 500m's were struggling just to walk. I, on the other hand, opted to wear my super comfy (but rather flat) boots. I had blisters from the last time I wore heels nad learnt my lesson. It took us.. roughly 45 minutes to find the restuarant. . and realised we actually did a massive square and landed back just a block from where we initially started. That was fun. I now know, the place is not called Peking Duck Place, Peking One or Peking place.. but Peking House. And what's even more deceiving is that it's actually on Canton Rd.. NOT Peking Rd.. We wondered up and down that bloody street god knows how many time to find it.. only to spot it on a perpendicular road.. by yours truely. So worth it though.. the duck just melted in your mouth.. it was cooked to perfection and those ducks looked like they were on steroids. They were as big as two ducks back here in Melbourne. We decided to order two ducks (last time I tried to eat half a duck I nearly threw up from over-eating) fried rice, some braised tofu, greens, dumpling and spring rolls. We ate like pigs.. and everyone just stared at us.. we ate EVERYTHING.

But anywyas, after peking duck tonight, Choco really really REALLY wanted to go see Iron Man 2, and in gold class no less. We weren't sure if HK cinema's offered gold class but we went and asked one of the girls working behind the counter, but she didn't seem to understand us.. after a while Tina nad Train left for our hotel rooms becuase their heels were taking a toll on their legs. So Choco, Garry and I were left to our own devices wandering around aimlessly trying to find a gold class cinema. After half an hour of fruitless wondering, we decided to call it a day and head home. On the way home, the two boys couldn't decide if they wanted pizza hut for dinner or maccas. so they decided to get Pizza Hut delivered (after we stood at the Macca's counter for a good minute or two before walking out) we were going to get the front desk staff to order our pizza for us to be delivered but were shattered when they said that deliveries had finished for the night. I just wanted one stuffed crust crust, but Garry and Choco were still hungry and wanted a whole pizza. Oh wells, they went to bed not yet satisfied.

Omgoodness, the printer made a weird noise and completely freaked me out. going to call it a night.. but we've done HEAPS of s hopping. checked out a temple nad found Honeymoon desserts.. yum!

until next time.. T
